Caleb has now had his acting debut. Joshua and Caleb were members of the boy band in Music Man Jr. at their school a few weeks ago. Caleb was not paying attention to the play at one point, and Joshua felt it was his duty to correct him, which started a little squabble during the play. I was worried it would escalate into a full out fight, but luckily the scene ended quickly, and they left the stage. Caleb made a couple of girlfriends during the play practices, and they were there to make sure he did what he was supposed to do when he was supposed to do it. You can see his "girlfriend" in the white dress next to him in the picture.

Johsua celebrated his 9th birthday. He had another Star Wars party. I think we have just about worn out that theme, but Luke says that he wants to have a Star Wars and Batman party. I'm not sure how to work that out. We counted about 40 people (adults and kids) at Joshua's party. We had a campfire and hot dogs. The big kids did a treasure hunt while the littles played with bubbles and chalk. I think what Joshua enjoyed most was just having a bunch of kids over to run around with. I was so thankful that the weather allowed the party to be outside!
We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. The boys found their Easter baskets, and we had a great church service. On Thursday night before Easter, we had a last supper service at church, and on Sunday, we celebrated our Risen Savior. What joy we have in our faith as believers in Christ that we have the promise of life eternal in Heaven. No sickness, no pain.

We took Spring Break to Edisto Island and Charleston. We had a great week including hiking, swimming, walking on the beach, eating yummy seafood, exploring an aircraft carrier, and a carriage ride.
The boys found a snake on a tree while hiking. Yikes!

Putt-putt - Joshua would hit the ball, and Luke would run up, grab the ball, yell "I got it", pick it up, and throw it in the hole. Luke was proud and excited, while Joshua got more and more upset with each hole. Too funny...
Ever seen trees growing in the ocean?
Tasty toes.We are counting down the weeks until summer. We have 6 school weeks left. Between here and there, we've got a few trips planned, so I'm not sure if we'll end up going longer than 6 weeks or not. It depends on how much work we put into the school day. We could double up on some things to get it all accomplished. I've got several projects that I want to work on this summer, so I'm hoping that I can be productive, but the kids might want to go swimming, hmmmm.
I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
