The New Year is here already. I've already messed up two checks with 2010, so I need to get caught up. We had a wonderful Christmas celebration (or four, if you count them all!). I'll see if I can recap quickly.
Caleb had a great birthday. He got the lego motorcycle that he "always" wanted.

I gave each of the kids at the party a small lego kit as a favor. Luke loved his so much, he fell asleep with it.

Matt graduated! Woo hoo!

We lost our sweet Buddy. He had arthritis in his hind legs, and it had gotten difficult for him to get up. He passed away while we were at church one night. He was a sweet, sweet dog to us for 12 1/2 years.

We had Christmas with Mom and my brother's family, but my pictures didn't turn out too great. Then, we had Christmas with David, Mimi, and Matt's brother's family, and I forgot my camera. Finally, I was ready when we had Christmas at home bright and early.

Then, we had beautiful snow...a white Christmas! Last year when we had snow, the boys didn't have sleds. Matt wanted to order them sleds for this year, and I figured they wouldn't get used. You can see the sleds in the background of the picture above. So, they got sleds on Christmas morning, and they got to use them Christmas afternoon.

We left the next day for Vidalia and Christmas at Dad's house. It was still pretty chilly even in South Georgia. We drove through snow flurries as far south as Milledgeville.

We had a couple of Joshua's friends over to spend the night on New Year's Eve. They wanted to do sparklers, and I just happened to have a couple of boxes left over from July 4th. So, we did sparklers and sparkling cider and most of the boys made it up to midnight.

David and Thomas watch Matt with a sparkler.
Happy New Year, and I hope you all have big plans for 2011!
