We had two special birthdays in January, Mimi and Anna!
Anna got her favorite stuff, Minnie Mouse. We gave her a Mulan, My First Princess Doll, also. She celebrated in style this year. There were lots of smiles and excitement to open presents. It is so much different this year than last year, because she is so much more relaxed and not afraid to take charge and tell us all what to do!
Joshua made a model of blood for a science experiment. It included corn syrup for the plasma, red hots for the red blood cells, a white gum drop for a white blood cell, and sprinkles for the platelets. We are still loving his science class of Human Anatomy with Freedom Project Education (fpeusa.org).
Luke has been praying for snow to come some day, and it finally arrived. We didn't get a lot, but it was enough for the boys to get out and play. By the time the snowman was done, Luke was already back inside, so he didn't make it for the picture. Thomas and Anna were content to stay inside and just watch the snow come down.
