Vacation - Wilderness at the Smokies

We started our school at the beginning of August and took the last week of August for our summer vacation.  It's nice to be able to vacation after most kids are back in school.  It is especially nice at high tourist places like Wilderness at the Smokies.  It has an indoor and outdoor waterpark with slides, lazy river, wave pool, toddler splash park, etc.  They also have an indoor adventure park with a ropes course, rock climbing wall, laser maze, mini bowling, and putt-putt.  We were able to spend our entire vacation time here instead of running around to outside attractions.  We fixed meals in our room and ate out only a couple of times.  I even got to do some laundry so we didn't have to carry home wet swimsuits!  The kids got to watch Animal Planet and Duck Dynasty.   Everyone was happy, happy, happy (well, aside from a couple of meltdowns, but that is par for the course)!
