School has been going very well for us this year, so far. Caleb has been working some with Joshua since he doesn't start preschool until next week. It will be nice to have some quiet time with Joshua while Luke naps in the mornings. The other day we were doing the letter B, and we used food coloring to make blue bubbles. Then, they decided to taste the food coloring. Here is the result!
And here is our macaroni M...
We had a wonderful time at MOPS last week. They had a pancake breakfast, and we all laughed that it had been a long time since we were able to eat pancakes without sharing and getting syrup everywhere. They gave us a little treat for coming and door prizes. Luke went to MOPPETS without a tear, too!
We took Caleb to preschool open house yesterday. He really enjoyed playing with the other kids, so I think he will do just fine. We went to the apple orchard picking apples with a local homeschool group last week. The apples were pretty well picked over, and most of them had been killed off by the late frost, but the boys picked up apples like they were treasures! I had to throw out the rotten ones later when they weren't looking ;-)
We had a birthday party for Mariah (Chris' daughter) last weekend while she was visiting. She was so excited to have cake and presents, even though it really wasn't much.
Joshua has started soccer practice, and he is with most of the same kids from last year. He also has the same coach. She is great, so we hope that he really improves his skills this season.
Kim, Jake, Jenna, and her grandmother came up today. We went to Helen and ate lunch by the river. Then, we let the boys go swimming at Mom's pool. They plan to close it next week, so the boys are trying to get in the last minute swims. The boys are watching CARS now, and Jake is quoting it word for word, it's funny.

Oh my my, Debbie. Blue food coloring, huh? So, how long does it take for it to come off? Too cute.
